Agile Project Management with Scrum – Morning

Overview
This exciting and practical workshop will provide you an understanding of Agile and Scrum alongside individual and team exercises. It is designed for those who will be involved in the Scrum process, including Project Managers, Product Owners, Program Managers, PMO Directors, Software developers, executives and QA.

We discuss practical, tested, Agile and Scrum: how do we make it work, what are the ‘from-the-trenches’ best practices, what are anti-patterns and a coach's view of Agile and teams.

We use an online real time polling tool to gather expectations and feedback from the participants, to better target the delivery to the expectations.

Key take away – have your backlog ready to make agile work, focus on time boxed delivery!

The Agile PMO  - Afternoon

Leading the Effective, Value Driven, Project Management Office

Overview
Conclusive research findings inform us that many PMOs are disbanded in two years. Yet; we repeat the same mistakes in our PMO implementations – wasting money, resources and time. In this practical workshop we focus on the value driven PMO as an integrator, enabler, differentiator, and change agent in business, development and the organization in general.

We analyze the essential model for PMO value enablement which answers:

  • What does it mean to be an Agile PMO;
  • How to ensure effective streamlined delivery;
  • How to effectively select and prioritize opportunities;

We discuss theory, learn in teams and pairs, identify best practices and tasks an Agile PMO can undertake.

Key take away – a PMO must deliver value constantly. Value isn’t template, tools and processes rather it is the ability to finish the right projects faster

Who Should Attend

  • PMO leaders, VPs, Directors and senior management, managers and leaders wishing to increase their effectiveness, embarking on the value driven journey as well as learning how to become more Agile;
