President's Message

Welcome to PMIGLC 2020!

Let me take this opportunity to thank you for giving me an opportunity to serve you as President of PMI Great Lakes.

Hearty welcome to new members to the chapter and those accessing our website! This is the right time to thank all volunteers who have contributed immensely to the success of the chapter over the years. We will endeavor to build on the excellent foundation Outgoing President Sean McConnell has created. But there is much still to be done. Having been involved in this Chapter for over a decade, I can tell you that the incoming 2020 Board is talented, engaged, and ready to get to work!

PMI Great Lakes is registered under Michigan State and governed by elected members as Board of Directors. With the Vision to be a choice organization of PM professionals, the chapter has set clear mission and objectives to share contemporary Project Management knowledge and continuously upgrade the same by networking activities and serving society through relevant skill development.

As you have undoubtedly heard in the past, this Chapter is only as successful as the participation of the membership. Never has that been more true than this year. I call on all PMIGLC members to look at the Board as assets and tools for your use to raise the level of value we all want for our chapter.

I call upon you to grow professionally by networking and contributing to volunteering activities such as knowledge sharing, event volunteering, in conjunction with adhering to chapter vision, mission, goals and objectives. We, the Board, stand ready to respond to your questions, concerns, suggestions, and needs.

As we build on the 2019 legacy, we ask your help in any form or fashion you can provide, whether it be in attending chapter functions, volunteering to help the chapter, or just offering suggestions.

Srini Pinnamaneni, PMIGLC President
