Sean McConnell

Sean is currently the Senior Manager of Information Technology for a Tier One Automotive Supplier in Troy, Michigan.   Sean has spent 22 years in the Automotive Industry split between Canada and the USA, working mostly for Automotive Parts Suppliers and one Automaker.  Sean has started and led new IT Organizations and numerous project implementations across North America and Europe.  He has worked in the retail industry, leading an ERP selection / implementation project.  Sean joined PMIGLC and became PMP Certified in 2008.   Sean is Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt certified, ITIL certified and received a BA from the University of Windsor (Ontario) in 1993.

Srinivas Pinnamaneni is currently employed as Solution Architect at Ford Motor Company. Srinivas brings over 25 years of hands-on experience in the fields of Enterprise Architecture, Product Development, Finance, IT, Program Management and Project Management and has contributed to the organizational growth in these roles.

Srinivas has been an active volunteer in PMIGLC ever since his PMP certification in 2009. Srini came aboard the PMIGLC Board of Directors in 2010. He served as the Director for Communication for a 3 years. He then transitioned to the role of Director for Membership, a position he served in for 3 years. Srinivas came to Exective Commitee as VP membership in 2016.

Srinivas is TOGAF 9.2, ITIL certified and holds a Master of Computer Applicaiton and Master of Science in Mathametics. 


Rajesh Sivakumar

Rajesh Sivakumar has over 23 years of experience in the IT industry, the last 17 of which have been specifically in the areas of Implementation and Management of PeopleSoft solutions. Raj is currently an IT Manager at Lear Corporation, a leading global supplier of automotive seating systems, electrical distribution systems and electronics. His team is responsible for managing the PeopleSoft Financials system that pays out $7 Billion to suppliers, annually.

Raj's academic achievements include a Master’s degree in Computer Science, the PMP Certification and an Advanced Project Management certification from Stanford University. His favorite pastime activities include reading, music and volunteering.

Raj came aboard the PMIGLC Board of Directors in 2011. He served as the Director of Contracts Management for a year. He then transitioned to the role of Director, Volunteer Recruitment and Recognition, a position he served in for 4 years.

In addition to volunteering for the PMIGLC, Raj also served as one of the Board of Directors for a non-profit organization established for an Ethnic group with no political or religious affiliation, in Michigan. After serving this Board for 2 years, he is presently a member of its Board of Trustees.

Michele Patera

Michele Patera is a Program Management Lead for Nokia Networks specializing in Multi-Vendor Maintenance Global Programs. In this customer facing roll, she supports her team and leads cross-functional teams to execute quality services for customer satisfaction and is accountable for deliverables and financials.  She has been in the Telecommunications industry for 28 years supporting various functions such as Credit Management, Customer Service, Process Planning, and for the last 18 years Program Management. She is an advocate of building relationships and collaboration for successful business and participates in the corporate mentoring/coaching program.


Michele holds a BSBA from Central Michigan University, a Masters Certificate in Project Management from Stevens Institute, and became PMP certified in 2005.  She became a member of the PMI St. Louis Chapter in 1999 and joined the Great Lakes Chapter in 2005. Michele began volunteering with the GLC in 3/2017 as a Brand Marketing Manager and supported various initiatives serving the Membership and Volunteer teams.  Michele is also currently active supporting programs in her church. In previous years she was an active member of the National Association of Credit Management and served as President, VP, and Secretary of the Credit and Financial Development Division of NACM.

Currently working for Strategic Staffing Solutions and assigned to Trinity Health System Office in Livonia, MI.

I received my PMP certification, May 2007, and have been an active member of the PMIGLC since then.  Recently, I accepted an invitation, from our VP of Finance, Chris Sharp, to join the Finance Committee, and become a more active volunteer for our Chapter Events.

With all of the gray hair to prove it - I have been in Project/Program/Portfolio Manager for 24 years.  I have been fortunate enough to work in a number of different organizations (both as a contractor and staff) in several different markets (Health Care, Automotive, Public Utilities, Content Management, and HR Systems).  I have been with Ascension Technologies for the past 8 years – and in my current role, I’m working primarily on Strategic Infrastructure Programs and Projects.

I have my BS in Business Administration Management Information Systems) from Oakland University; and my MBA (Marketing Customer Management / Management Information Systems) from the University of Georgia.

Anthony is a certified program management and project management professional working at DTE Energy for the past 15 years. He has 24 years of professional experience in Information Technology and 15 years of demonstrated experience in leadership capacity including leading many complex and high visibility programs/projects, championing business process changes, developing strategic plans, providing leadership support to the project management community of practice, and negotiating with internal & external business partners.

Anthony has earned his master degree in Computer Science. He received his MBA from Wayne State University with focus in Finance. He currently holds PMP and PgMP certifications.

Surya is a Senior Project Manager with Ally Financial Inc.  He has extensive Project Management experience with companies such as KPMG Consulting, PriceWaterhouse Coopers.  He has implemented ERP systems in organizations such as State of Michigan, Oakland County, Compaq (Now part of HP), General Motors etc.  Surya has been an avid volunteer with PMI GLC since 2007.  He got his PMI certification in 2005.  He received his Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Karnataka, India

Ann is a seasoned Project Management Professional (PMP) applying her expertise in a major business system deployment at Ally Financial, in Detroit MI.   Ann is pursuing her Business Management PhD in the School of Business and Technology, with focus on Project Management.   She specializes in either the Start-up/Organization and Deployment of major initiatives.  In almost every assignment, there is a large technology change coupled with business demands for reduced cycle time, costs or process re-engineering.   Time after time, her Deployment experience has come into play on large projects on a specific implementation time frame. Ann is active in the community, church and local Project Management Institute (PMI) Great Lakes Chapter where she currently serves as Vice President of Professional Development.   Golf, cooking, walking and snow shoeing are favorite activities when time allows.

Specialties Notable specialties include leading the preparation for Sustain operations and deployment of large initiatives, mentoring others as they adapt to Agile work environments, 3rd party relationship building and strong technical experience.

Jerry Gusmano

Jerry currently works at Verizon Wireless in Southfield, MI as a Project Manager for the
Michigan-Indiana-Kentucky network.  In that role, Jerry has implemented new
technologies for Verizon in large venues, such as Comerica Park, Jou Louis Arena, U of
M Stadium (The Big House), and many others.
Jerry has worked in the Telecom industry as a PM for the past 4 years.  Prior to that he
served in the U.S. military for 24 years as a Communications Electrician and Navy
Counselor. During his military career, Jerry rose to the enlisted rank of Chief Petty
Officer, and was responsible for projects such as planning the Blue Angels (Navy’s
Flight Demonstration Team) visits to the region.
Jerry earned his PMP certification in 2018. He currently has a Bachelor’s degree from
Excelsior College, and is currently enrolled in his Master’s in Project Management with
Keller Graduate School of Management. He has been a proud member of PMI & PMI
GLC for the past 2 years.
