Subject: Coffee Talk on Staying Organized as a PM
The main objective for this session will be to get people talking and sharing ideas. A couple of high-level talking points will be provided to start the discussion, including:
- Back to Basics - What is the meaning of Organization?
- What tools can be used to help stay organized
- Managing multiple projects and teams
Three takeaways that the participants should get out of this session are:
- Networking
- Trends for staying organized across the industry
- How to be better organized while managing projects and teams
Speaker: Allison Kava
Allison Kava is an IT Product Manager at Henry Ford Health and will be celebrating 12 years there in October 2023. She is a wife, mom of 3 kids (7,5, 1.5), and holds many volunteer positions including Breakfast Manager for PMIGLC, Board Member/Social Director of her local Swim Club, and a Girl Scout co-troop leader. On the weekends, she loves traveling/camping, going on different adventures and hosting family and friends at home. In any extra free time, she enjoys making things with her Cricut machine and anything to do with pampering/skincare.
Allison received her bachelor’s in business administration in 2009, her Masters of Arts in Organizational Management in 2011, and became PMP certified in 2018.
