February 2022 Monthly Meeting (Virtual)

Subject:  Managing and Preparing for Uncertain Times - Valuable Management Lessons from a Health System Setting

In the setting of the continuing pandemic, the world has been battling unprecedented challenges and constraints in the social, economic and political planes, where uncertainty is certain, and unknowns remain common. Yet we have seen our economies and communities bounce back stronger and wiser, navigating through the challenges. What better place than a hospital setting to look for valuable management lessons to stay focused through the waves of uncertainty and continue to deliver value and serve the larger population. This session will give us an opportunity to understand and appreciate the holistic approaches taken by hospitals and healthcare institutions to manage challenges and mitigate risks. You will hear about How to Expect the unexpected and plan proactively.
