November 2026 Lunch & Learn (virtual)
Subject: AI in Enterprise Portfolio & Project Management Intelligence
Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing how organizations plan, prioritize, govern, and deliver portfolios and projects—but for many practitioners, it can be difficult to separate practical value from AI hype.
This session gives project, program, PMO, and portfolio professionals a practical, non-technical framework for understanding and applying AI in enterprise PPM. Participants will learn the differences among generative AI, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI agents, and agentic AI, and how these capabilities can support better decisions without replacing professional judgment.
Using common PPM challenges—including priority overload, fragmented data, slow governance, reactive risk, and resource constraints—the session connects AI concepts to practical use cases such as portfolio prioritization, grounded portfolio intelligence, executive reporting, predictive risk identification, and capacity planning.
The session also addresses the governance required for responsible enterprise adoption, including grounding, human oversight, permission controls, traceability, auditability, and fail-safe behavior. Participants will leave with a practical adoption roadmap and evaluation framework they can use to identify appropriate AI use cases, assess AI-enabled PPM capabilities, and begin introducing AI responsibly within their own organizations.
