Hello and Happy New Year!

As we begin the new year, I want to first thank our members for the support of our chapter, our volunteers for their time and talent, and a special thank you to our Past President Jerry Gusmano who in 2022, delivered excellence in Leadership and best in class f2f events.

For 2023, I look forward to team collaboration on the chapter initiatives, as presented at the December Annual Business Meeting. With all the changes made in our personal and business environments since the Covid-19 pandemic, our chapter is geared to serve our membership with both virtual and f2f professional development events.  

My focus is to SUPPORT and GROW.           

From a Support perspective, I’m here to listen to the needs of our chapter members and provide Leadership and Accountability as we work together to accomplish our goals.

From a Grow perspective, my focus is to work towards professional and personal growth through our programs and to market the benefits our chapter offers to increase membership. A special focus is on the Next Generation of Rising Leaders and the two Michigan chapters (Thumb and Capital who have recently dissolved) to ensure all are aware of the value our chapter provides.  

Our chapter has a strong volunteer community and if you refer to the website you will see there are ~70 strong of us from OOP, EC, Director, and Manager levels.  These volunteers help bring the many valued benefits to each of our members. We pride ourselves in the diversity of our team, excellent professional development events, networking opportunities, and the good works we do for our community.  I encourage you to look at the open volunteer positions and join in the fun.

I look forward to serving as your 2023 President and hope to see you at an upcoming event.
