Greetings PMI Great Lakes Members, 

Summer is upon us, and I hope fun with family and friends is on the agenda. Please be safe and alert, as there is always an increase in injuries during summer activities, whether biking or on the water. 

Summer is a good time to brush up on your PM skills. We have an assortment of webinars and videos through IIL or Project Bites…some of these are absolutely FREE to attend, so please take advantage.  Additionally, we post links to good reading material from PMI under our NEW Professional Development page on our website.

We’re excited about our upcoming Annual Golf Tournament on August 20th. This is always a great time together, whether you play golf or not, so come to hang out. If you sign up soon, you can take advantage of our early bird pricing. I hope to see you there!!

This year has been a great year for our chapter as we have returned back together for our Symposium in April, and some Happy Hours along the way. We’re planning our Fall agenda and are excited to begin our planning for our annual Professional Development Day in October. Be looking for the emails that offer the early bird pricing. 

BOTTOM LINE:

We don’t have a chapter without you. We HIGHLY encourage you to have a voice on our chapter’s future.  We’re interested to know if we’re meeting your needs, or if we need to add something that brings value to your professional development. Our goal is World-Class, and this can only be judged by YOU! Let’s work together to bring the PM profession to a new level. We have new members joining every week and we are humbled by our responsibility to provide them a World-Class organization, as they grow as project managers.
